Our Leadership Council
The VCHI Leadership Council is open to organizations with a Virginia presence that are interested in improving the value of the Commonwealth’s health system. This diverse group of health plans, health systems, medical professionals, laboratory and pharmaceutical companies, health safety net providers, state agency leadership, consumer advocates and employers meets quarterly with the VCHI Board of Directors to inform program development and accelerate VCHI’s mission.
- Member organization’s designee invited to join VCHI’s Board of Directors for quarterly Board meetings and work group meetings
- Be the first to hear of new VCHI grant opportunities and have preferred eligibility for partnership and participation in VCHI programs and events
- Unparalleled networking opportunities and access to other LC members that often lead to new strategic partnerships
- Acknowledgment on VCHI website
- Access to the VCHI quarterly newsletter
- Access to the VCHI Board and Leadership Council directory
I am convinced that what we are doing can lend a cohesive argument for focusing on high value care that is not driven by special interests or partisanship.
I mean, look at the membership; you have providers, hospital systems, insurers, quality and operations people all at the same table discussing optimal outcomes with significantly different perspectives on how to get things done.
The value of participating in the Leadership Council to me has been the ability to discuss important drivers of healthcare quality in such a diverse group.
The VCHI Leadership council has been a robust and exciting group to be a part of. I have been surprised by the complexity of each issue and appreciate the diverse expertise in the group. The leadership team at VCHI has been outstanding to involve everyone and also be on the leading edge. I commend them both and thank them for their tireless efforts.
Getting agreement on things like the Value Dashboard, in a group setting, from so many different players really resonates with me.
By joining the Leadership Council, we have been able to leverage and build relationships with stakeholders across the healthcare delivery system. These partnerships, and having a seat at the table, have been the stepping stone to the development of some of the innovative work we bring to our member organizations.
