GRANTS AND DATA PARTNERSHIPS About the Research Consortium Research Executive Committee Reports CURRENT GRANTS The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation awarded the Research Consortium at VCHI a $100,000 Health Data for Action Grant to examine negotiated rates for behavioral health and primary care. AcademyHealth provided access to data for the project. Mathematica partnered with the Research Consortium at VCHI to make Virginia the first state to use Transparency in Coverage data. Virginia Health Information provided All-Payer Claims Database (APCD) data to the Research Consortium at VCHI. The College of William & Mary and George Mason University are research partners on the “Examining Negotiated Rates for Behavioral Health and Primary Care” grant. DATA PARTNERS Epic Systems partnered with the Research Consortium at VCHI to make Virginia the first state in the country to use Epic Cosmos data to develop statewide reports. Virginia Health Information and Milliman MedInsight partnered with the Research Consortium at VCHI to develop a data enclave to streamline data access for researchers.
